If there is one subject in the Word that perfectly describes and summarizes God’s interactions with man, then it is that of the covenant. The covenant is probably the most important subject that portrays God the Father’s relationship involvement with man throughout the ages. It forms a continuous line that is braided through the Word like a golden thread. The covenant is one of the few matters that fully summarize God’s interaction with humanity throughout our entire history. Many things changed in the course of the world history, but the covenant describes that which remained the same in God’s heart all the years!
